I will summarize in the upcoming two entries two different ways of altitude lifelong adaptation among Ethiopian native highlanders, corresponding to Amhara highlanders living in the Simien Mountains of northern Ethiopia and the Oromos living in the Bale Mountains of southern Ethiopia.
